Honoring and Serving Our Veterans

Mission to Honor Veterans is an invitation-only, virtual “trip” to honor local veterans at no cost to the veteran.  This unique event will allow veterans the opportunity to experience a virtual visit to the National War Memorials without ever having to board a plane.  Priority is given to local, advanced age, and frail veterans who are unable to participate in an actual flight to Washington, D.C.

What to Expect:  Selected veterans will gather at Foothills Church to experience a virtual trip to tour National War Memorials.  A specially crafted film will simulate a flight to Washington, D.C., followed by a visit to our war and military service memorials.  Participants will feel like genuine travelers exploring Washington, D.C., guided by an engaging emcee. Distinguished guests will be in attendance to extend their gratitude to our honored veterans.

Light breakfast and snacks will be served during the event.  We will break from the screening to enjoy a complimentary lunch in the adjacent building.   Participants will receive a Mission To Honor Veterans polo shirt, Mail Call letters, souvenirs, and a commemorative photograph of all participating veterans.
