Needed: Lap Blankets

All of our veterans receive a lap blanket at the end of our program as a means of reminding them every day when they are cold, when they are uncomfortable – that we are all there with them. To keep them warm, to provide them comfort.

As you can imagine, this requires a lot of work and sacrifice – something our veterans are not strangers to. Last year, several of the people who have been creating legendary masterpieces for the veterans retired. We need your help making up the difference these people made.

We are not looking for used blankets. We are looking for new handmade lap blankets. Get creative Hold a lap blanket party! Spend time with those you love making a lap blanket for the veterans we love. These blankets make a huge difference in our veterans lives. They will hold onto them forever.
